Fall 2010!
So I haven't blogged forever but i have a lot of catching up to do! First of all Baby Lincoln is now over 9 Months and he is doing so many fun things like waving, clapping, saying "dadadada," trying to climb everything, he has got 2 teeth now!!!!! He can get from a laying down position to a crawling or sitting one, lets me now in sign language when he is "all done," with eating, and best of all he is CRAWLING! YAY! It's so exciting to see our baby learn new things! He is going to be Santa Claus for halloween which will be so fun! Also last sunday was my 22nd birthday and Steven and my family made it so special! The day before Steven took me shopping to get some new jeans and then took me out to dinner, he let me sleep in on Sunday, gave me a massage, and gave me teeth whitening trays (which i asked for.) I got money from my parents to get my hair done, money from Jim, Eliza and Kimball. Emme made me a card and Rebekah gave me a card and new cute winter outfit for Lincoln so it was a great one! Steven's birthday is Nov. 3 so i am getting ready for that. :) We should be moving out of my parents house soon which is bittersweet! Anyway I'm so excited Christmas and Thanksgiving are around the corner and then Lincoln's 1st birthday! CRAZY!!!

It's been FOREVER!
So We are now living in Saint George, YAY! Lincoln is Almost 8 months old! ( he will be on Thursday!) We are at my parents right now but will be moving out to our own place soon! Lincoln is doing so many new, fun things! He now sits up very well on his own and will catch himself if he starts to fall back, he claps and does "kisses"(purses his lips), when he is not hungry or doesn't want a certain food he not just spits it out, but sprays it out of his mouth, he thinks it's pretty funny! He is so happy and such a good, content baby most of the time! He loves swimming and his night time baths :) We recently went to a splash pad with some friends and he loved that too! He loves my parents dog Lucy and tried to eat her paw the other day haha. He loves walking around with me holding up his arms of course and directs me where he wants to go, we need to get him a walker! Steven is working at Allconnect and going to school, he works so hard for us and always has a good attitude!

My thoughts ( kind of all over the place, sorry)
-Thankful-
Lately I have come to realize again how precious life is, I mean I always have known but lately I have had reminders.I'm SO thankful that I have the opportunity to be a mother to such an amazing baby boy, his spirit is so sweet, he is so happy and loves everyone! He is such an example to me, and he is now a little over 6 months old! He is growing up so fast! I hope I can be the great mom that Heavenly Father needs me to be, one like my mom, so patient and christlike.I'm so grateful for my sweet husband who is always happy and positive and treats me so well.
-Moving-
So Steven and I have made the decision to move to Saint George, we think It will help him be motivated to get his associates so we can move back up north to finish his schooling, It will be good because I want to do some kind of schooling also and will have my family close to watch Lincoln :) I'm SOOO excited to be so close to my parents, and a few of my siblings! Although we will miss Steven's family very much!
-Lincoln's Milestones-
Lincoln is now doing and learning so many cute, new things! He can now roll over both ways, sit up by himself (but falls over after a minute,) He LOVES having other kids and babies around to watch and "play with," It's like him and the other babies have some kind of secret language or connection because he gets SO excited and he starts to flap his arms up and down and bounce on his legs, he tries to grab anything that is within his reach and sticks it in his mouth (which is kind of scary!) And he is starting to almost "scoot" around :) It's so fun!

Very Blessed!
Once again Heavenly Father knows what we need, when we need it! ...We have a lot of expenses right now, more than usual, well i guess we don't have a lot but they are just more costly than usual, anyway, our car needs fixing and Lincoln needs to go to the doctor for check ups and immunizations (we lost our insurance.) Not to mention both our phones just recently broke. Steven, Lincoln and I have all been sick the last few days with congestion, cough, cold, and loss of appetite and Lincoln has also been teething. BUT we have had SO much help also! Brock and Kelsie brought us a ton of groceries and medicine, Natalie and Justin brought us diapers and more groceries, Haley and Brandon brought us some medicine, Jason And Nicole gave us some Dayquil, and someone left a $100 dollar bill under our door this morning! It's amazing to me how giving everyone has been and it's helped SO much! If you are reading this and you gave us the money or help us out another way THANK YOU SO MUCH! You will be blessed for your service to us! Luckily Steven is better today and back to work and I think Lincoln is feeling better and is definetly sleeping better and so am I! I hope I can be inspired to help others when they need it and "pay it forward!"

Omniscience
So do you ever feel like you are trying so hard to do what is right and things still are hard and go wrong? Yeah, I think all of us do, but I guess we just have to remember that Heavenly Father is "all knowing" which is what my blog title "Omniscience" means, You would think I would have more faith because just last week, actually exactly a week ago Steven and I were struggling because he wasnt selling well so we prayed so so hard last friday night to know if we should stay out here in Texas, I sent a text out to most of our family to ask them to pray for him, and on Saturday he sold 4 accounts! So we got our answer! You would think I wouldnt doubt or question anymore but i still am. I do have faith though, I try to rely on my scriptures and have an amazing family, anyone in my family is always there to talk whenever and they always make me feel better, which is such a blessing and very rare! My parents are the most amazing ever and support me and my little family endlessly and my husband is a worthy priesthood holder and such a hard worker, and I have the cutest baby in the whole wide world! So I guess I just need to quit worrying and pitying myself and remember that Christ was perfect and he went through all the pains, sicknesses, sufferings, anxieties, etc for everyone and the Prophet Joseph Smith suffered more than anyone save Jesus Christ and he was a prophet! Anyway these are my thoughts today.....

Sleeping Baby!
So Lincoln has been sleeping A LOT better it's really nice! I put him to bed at 7:30 ish and last night he really didn't even cry much and he slept til four, the night before he almost slept til six! We also went swimming yesterday with some of the wives, it was so fun cause Lincoln got in and he seemed to really like it! He didn't last very long though because it was his naptime. I will post pics soon! So like I said Steven is gone for the week in Wichita Falls so I have been hanging out with the other wives a lot, we watched 'The Bachelorette' Monday and "American Idol' last night and Lee won! YAY! The boys might be out of town for two weeks after all If they are selling well in that area and managing it well, that would be hard, but if they are doing well then I guess It's worth it!

My Sweet Boys! ♥
So Lincoln was sleeping from about 8:30-9 pm until about three in the morning and I had a routine where i would swaddle him and stick the Binky in his mouth, the last 2 nights I have fed him his solids, (which is so fun) given him a bath, prayed for Daddy, then put him in his bed without a Binky or being swaddled. It's been pretty hard cause last night he cried for almost 1 1/2 hours, It broke my heart, but i know he needs to learn to sleep on his own! He is so sweet and growing up SO fast, he now reaches for hands, food, toys, his feeding spoon, well anything he can stick in his mouth really, and since I have not given him his Binky as much he started sucking on his thumb! It's so cute! He is going to roll over soon I can tell and I can't leave him next to blankets or clothes now or he'll pull them over his face now, which is kind of scary! So he sleeps in his "potato sack" like a little dress thingy that's thick so he can't suffocate. Steven is gone in a different area of Texas this week, to Wichita Falls to sell so It's going to be a little rough but I'll manage, he is working SO hard, I am SO proud of him! And he is staying so positive even though it's tough. We ( me and Steven) have become a lot closer even in the last month we have been here, they say that the best thing you can do for your marriage is to move away from all family. It's helped us a lot cause we really have to rely on eachother! I also have read my scriptures more diligenty out here so that's great! Anyway I'm so blessed to have my sweet husband and sweet sweet baby boy and of course the gospel!
Oh! and ps- Lincoln just went down for bed and hasn't even cried! Hope it lasts!!!

A new life
So I obviously have not posted anything FOREVER! but it feels like I have a new life now because so much has changed! First of all Lincoln Steven Miles was born on our 1 year anniversary on January 16, 2010! That's the best thing that has ever happened to me, including meeting Steven of course, I LOVE being a mom! It's definately a struggle sometimes though, just because you worry about your baby SO much but other than that it's absolutely wonderful. Another change that has happened is we are now living in Grand Prairie Texas, Steven is doing summer sales for a company called APX, they sell home security systems and he is doing great! I try to make his time at home very fun and relaxing and have food ready for him because he works SO hard, his schedule is 1-9 M-F and 9-9 on saturdays and off for sundays of course, he works SO hard for us! But anyways Lincoln is starting to discover his feet, giggle and play, and he talks to himself in his crib in the mornings it's so cute i can't even handle it! I love him so much we are so blessed to have him!
